Chris is in the National Guard, deployed to the southern border for 450 days. He couldn’t be home for Christmas. His wife, Nicole, is home raising 3 children by herself. We stopped by with the surprises to help this young family.
Right before Christmas, a couple of our board of directors visited with Volunteers of America Veterans Village and gifted all 23 Veteran residents with a Walmart Gift Card and a gift bag of food from Save A Lot.

At the starting line of the 2016 Memorial Day Race, a 15 passenger van was presented to the Volunteers of America Veterans Village of Punta Gorda so they can transport their Veteran residents to the VA for doctor appointments and community events where they volunteer.
