Right before Christmas, a couple of our board of directors visited with Volunteers of America Veterans Village and gifted all 23 Veteran residents with a Walmart Gift Card and a gift bag of food from Save A Lot. Many of the residents do not have family around and some were homeless before they were placed in the Veterans Village.
